SOMFY is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable development by incorporating non-financial performance targets into the terms of its syndicated loan with effect from 2023.

This transaction, supported by all its banking partners, provides for the annual indexing of the financing cost based on three key indicators:

• The reduction of scope 1 &2¹ greenhouse gas emissions in absolute value²;
• The reduction of scope 3³ greenhouse gas emissions in relative value in relation to the number of motors sold²;
• The increase in the proportion of women in management.

In 2021, SOMFY formalised its commitment by implementing a sustainable development policy based on 3 pillars: Planet, People and Prosperity. With this new transaction, the Group has confirmed its ambition and stepped up its actions to address sustainability and diversity challenges.

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking and LCL were involved in the transaction as ESG coordinators for the syndicated credit facility.
