Smart Home: Somfy and Legrand solutions are compatible

With world-renowned reliability and longevity, both companies share the ambition to provide professional customers and individual consumers compatible products for a new user experience within the smart home.

As part of a development strategy to make their respective systems interoperable, Legrand (via the program Eliot) and Somfy (via So Open with Somfy) intend to make it easier for customers to use smart solutions.

That is why Somfy and Legrand are now announcing compatibility1 between Céliane™ with Netatmo2 and Somfy rolling shutters on the French market, via their own respec-tive gateways: Legrand’s Céliane™ with Netatmo (1) control solution and Somfy’s Ta-Homa (2) /Connexoon* systems. This new development will be available in June 2018 in France, then in Europe as Legrand’s connected device ranges are launched thoughout 2018.
* To control Legrand products, using TaHoma.

End-users will be able to control Céliane™ with Netatmo products directly from TaHoma and create scenarios including both Somfy and Legrand products.
It will also be possible to activate Somfy’s radio-technology rolling shutters directly from Legrand’s Home Control app and connect them to Céliane™ with Netatmo scenario con-trols.

The partnership is set to roll out in Europe, and will be featured at both Somfy and Legrand stands during CES in Las Vegas.
