For residential applications, the Group designs motors, remote controls, and control points, sensors, and accessories for gates and garage doors.

In line with the Group's digitalization strategy for our core business products, these applications are fully integrated into the Connected Home solutions developed by Somfy. They provide unrivaled added value to the user when programming scenarios that make life comfortable and provide safe access to their home (“Leave Now” and “Return home”).

Motors and automatic systems for shop grilles and curtains as well as for industrial building doors: thanks to the complementarity of the Somfy and Simu brands, the Group is the world leader in this sector.

In 2015, Somfy launched a new generation of radio motors designed to become the standard for this market.

With our brand BFT, the Group is developing unique expertise for the service sector: automatic doors, barriers, retractable bollards, and parking management systems.

Since 2011, these products have embraced connectivity thanks to the U-Link communication protocol. It can be operated with other building management equipment brands.
