Job Description

This role is reinforcing long-lasting relationship with customers, increase sales at the local market level and ensure differentiation and strong visibility of Somfy offer against competitors at the point of sales. You will support in developing customer marketing activities to win within assigned channels in the most effective way with close cooperation with Sales Team. Report directly to Local Trade Marketing Manager and transversally to Regional Trade Marketing Manager.

  • Build the annual marketing plan of the channels in line with BU strategy / Collaborate and partner with the sale teams to develop and deploy partners’ network sales and marketing promotional programs, co-marketing campaigns and key events across the region.
  • Develop and maintain installer channel market grip through Somfy Expert program management, animation, brand activation initiatives
  • Create, develop and implement merchandising and POSM aligned to Somfy brand guidelines and quality standards  at installer level with special focus on Somfy Expert network, ensuring the materials are installed and fully functional in showrooms.
  • Conduct periodical Mystery Shopping studies to measure customer service quality and brand recommendation level at point of sales / monitoring the customer satisfaction
  • Measurement and ROI tracking and analysis of conducted activities to monitor campaigns and initiatives performance and effectiveness.
  • Execute promotions and activities. Optimize the efficiency of promotional & merchandising activities, best practice implementation & regular post-analysis.
  • Create trade marketing materials, while searching for continuous cost optimization and quality improvement (new materials, bidding / sourcing, respecting company procurement policy
  • Local Trade Marketing budget management, forecasting, planning and reporting.
  • Drive and coordinate regular trainings for trade partners and their retail chains.
  • Support the cooperation with external and internal stakeholders: vendors, agencies, retailers / distributors counterparts sales, marketing, product management, customer service, procurement).
  •  Monitor & share information about competitive environment, store environment and consumers behaviors / insights and share with organization.
  • Supports sales  team to deploy and manage the marketing campaigns and projects, providing guidelines and all other needed marketing materials.
  • Close cooperation with sales, product marketing and digital marketing to implement the annual marketing plan.
  • Validate and adapt all marketing content translations, edits and proofreading of global and regional campaigns deployed in the designated region.
  • Work closely with product marketing team and technical team to ensure the latest versions of the catalogues are translated and available in the assigned countries and distributed to the partners, the sales teams and available online;
  • Work closely with the digital team to ensure the regional websites and landing pages are updated with latest information: contacts details, dealer locator, e-catalogues and product e-brochures, campaigns.  

Qualifications

Successful 3 to 5 years marketing experience on added value products and strong brands:

  • Educational background in Marketing & Communications or Business-related subject.
  • Marketing  experience of at least 3 years in B2B industry, ideally in a technology company or electronic goods.
  • Experience in product marketing and/or trade marketing will be an advantage, as well as market intelligence.
  • Fluent Hungarian and English is essential to succeed in the role.
  • Knowledge of Serbian or Croatian will be an additional advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power Point.
  • Experience in using Salesforce tools would be an additional benefit.
  • Ability to work with remote teams as well as on the ground, establishing good network and cooperation with different functions across local and regional teams.
  • Creative individual.
  • Good planning skills and time management.
