Job Description
As part of a major transformation of the company, we are currently implementing SAP within the Group. We are now creating central positions, by function, with responsibility for Master Data.
The mission of the job:
monitor, manage and implement data relating to Finance (cost centers, project codes, chart of accounts, etc.). You will work closely with the Head of Finance Functions (Management Control, Tax & Customs, Accounting, Internal Control, etc.) to ensure data quality and consistency.
Main activities:
As part of the central SAP Finance team, be responsible for Finance master data: monitoring, managing, creating and implementing data within the system.
Create strong links with SAP projects and the function in order to understand and anticipate business needs and the development of tools.
Be responsible for finance master data management projects.
Working closely with the heads of the finance and data excellence functions to ensure the quality of the data in the systems.
Act as Finance Data Owner:
Define master data management rules
Responsible for master data quality
Define and document master data attributes
Responsible for repositories
Determine future developments
Be the Global Data Excellence team's key point of contact for financial data.
Have direct links with the financial operational staff throughout the Group.
In collaboration with the Global Data Excellence team, coordinate and lead the ecosystem (Finance, COE, IT, data) on the theme of master data.
This position will give you a very good understanding of how Somfy Group operates, opening up opportunities for you to develop within the company.
Qualifications
Top technical/hard competencies:
Good knowledge of finance processes
A strong interest in data management
Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system is highly desirable
Good Excel skills
Top Soft/behavioural competencies:
Rigorous and autonomous
Analytical and synthetic
Ability to work cross-functionally and understand the needs and challenges of different business lines and departments
Language: English (B1/B2 level)
Education: Master in Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Audit
Minima years of experience: 3-5 years, proven experience in accounting, audit, or controlling.
