Job Description
To join our Project Business Department based in Athens, Somfy is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Residential & Commercial Access Project Business Developer.
The ideal candidate will identify growth opportunities in his area of responsibility by specifying, managing, developing, and supporting residential & commercial access projects in Greece.
Project business related responsibilities include the support of the Short Channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and expand Residential projects portfolio through direct contacts with related project actors, specifiers & vendors in Greece
• Specify, quote & facilitate all projects in Residential & Commercial Access segments
• Project on-site visit (if & where necessary) to secure proper application of specified solutions during realization phase
• Manage Short Channel clientele directly and combine with residential activity
• Manage & develop Commercial Access clientele directly
• Animate and control the E-shop and the product offer
• Arrange & realize trainings for all related to own activity partners in Greece
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical (or other) Engineering. A Master’s degree in BA or Marketing will be considered as an asset.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, project development or a similar role will be considered as an asset.
- Excellent communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Native Greek language
- Fluency in English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- 100% non-remote position
